Clay VAC
The Clay VAC was led by Brigitta Seck, under and post-grad tutor at NCAD. The brief was to design and make two clay forms that strongly corresponded to each other, using line, shape, form and texture to create a sculptural relationship between the two forms. The sessions focused on how to create texture in clay, create coil and slab vessels, as well as detailing the processes of clay firing and glazing. Students teachers presented their final sculptural work accompanied by a physical notebook with research (including supporting artists) and process work.
