Digital Media
VAC
The Digital Media VAC was led by Tony Murphy, post-grad tutor at NCAD. The theme of the project was Home and Land, and students were asked to respond using photography and digital media editing to create a finished photo-book and narrated video. The sessions focused on how to tell a story through images with initial research carried out through supporting artists. Subsequent sessions aimed to strengthen the student teachers' digital editing skills, and introduced new skills such as video and audio editing.
The final photo-books functioned as a source for the development education module which was based on the same theme.
